About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at Squamish Nation. As a key member of our Home and Community Care (HCC) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our HCC program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to HCC Nurse Assessors, Senior Health Care Assistants, and Client Care Coordinators.
  • Develop and implement quality home care services, client care plans, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with British Columbia's regulations and standards for home care services.
  • Promote a culturally safe and supportive environment for Nation Members, clients, and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Combination of relevant experience, education, and training in nursing and leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in home care or a related field.
  • Knowledge of British Columbia's regulations and standards for home care services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
