About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Assessor to join our Home and Community Care (HCC) team at Squamish Nation. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and support to our Nurse Assessors, Senior Health Care Assistants, and Client Care Coordinators. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality home care services, effective implementation of Client Care Plans, and exceptional client service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the HCC team
  • Develop and implement Client Care Plans that meet the needs of our Nation Members and clients
  • Ensure compliance with British Columbia's regulations and standards for Home and Community Care
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients
  • Promote a culturally safe and supportive environment for our clients, families, and staff

Requirements

  • Combination of relevant experience, education, and training in nursing and leadership

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving
