About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Assessor Leader to join our Yúustway Health and Wellness Department. As a key member of our team, you will support the Manager of the Home and Community Care (HCC) division to ensure the smooth daily operations of the HCC program. You will act as the first point of contact and direct supervisor of the HCC Nurse Assessors, Senior HCA, and the Client Care Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of quality home care services and proper implementation of Client Care Plans.
- Provide exceptional client service standards and client access to other health care professionals.
- Lead a team of professionals to promote a culturally safe, supportive, empowering, and therapeutic environment for Nation Members, clients, and families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
- Stay up-to-date with British Columbia's regulations associated with Home and Community Care, including delegated and assigned tasks, client and staff safety, and confidentiality.
