About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team at Molson Coors. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a critical role in driving growth and profitability for our beer category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Insights and Analysis
    • Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from various sources, including market research and sales data.
    • Identify emerging business opportunities and trends in the beer industry.
  • Customer Solutions
    • Work collaboratively with account teams to develop and implement sales call approaches and plans.
    • Enhance the utilization of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team.
  • Category Growth Strategies
    • Develop and implement category growth strategies to drive sales and profitability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of category growth plans.
  • Perfect Store Execution
    • Develop and implement Perfect Store strategies to optimize in-store execution and drive sales.
    • Collaborate with retailers to ensure effective execution of Perfect Store plans.
  • Sampling and Promotions
    • Develop and implement sampling and promotion strategies to drive sales and brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of sampling and promotion plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
    • 3+ years of progressive experience in category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales in the CPG industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive insights and recommendations that support business strategies and drive growth.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
