Key Responsibilities- Category Insights and Analysis
- Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from various sources, including market research and sales data, to establish yourself as a reliable and valued category expert.
- Identify emerging business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
- Customer Solutions and Partnerships
- Work collaboratively with account teams to develop and execute sales call approaches and plans that drive category growth and profitability.
- Enhance the utilization of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team to drive business results.
- Category Management and Planning
- Implement annual plans agreed with customers, ensuring activations align with brand strategies and Perfect Store tools elevate the category.
- Develop planogram concepts for assigned retailers and conduct postmortem analyses of programs to evaluate successes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Sampling Strategy and Execution
- Lead sampling strategy for assigned customers, ensuring effective execution and measurement of program results.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales in the CPG industry.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive insights and recommendations that support business strategies and drive growth for the category.
- Strong written and verbal selling skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and data insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Nielsen IQ, JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning software, and Retailer POS experience.
