Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Controls to lead our efforts in establishing robust operational and reporting controls within our finance department. This role will involve overseeing key projects related to financial policy and reporting, with a focus on driving sustainable reporting processes and developing internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sustainability Reporting: Collaborate with the Chief Sustainability Officer to enhance sustainability reporting initiatives. Integrate sustainability metrics into our financial reporting controls.
  • Internal Controls: Assess control gaps and implement tailored financial controls. Develop Risk and Control Matrices for the finance department.
  • Projects and Initiatives: Lead strategic projects from inception to completion. Work cross-functionally to address business needs and drive enterprise-level solutions.
  • People Management: Oversee a team of internal and external staff, providing mentorship and support. Maintain effective relationships with external partners and auditors.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting designation from a recognized body
  • Experience with international financial reporting standards
  • Minimum 10 years of financial reporting experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of implementing scalable processes and controls
  • Strong communication and managerial skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
