We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Director to join our team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis functions, providing strategic guidance to senior management, and driving business growth through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Financial Planning and Analysis:** Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • **Strategic Guidance:** Provide financial guidance to senior management, identifying opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements.
  • **Financial Reporting:** Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • **Financial Systems:** Manage and maintain our financial systems, including accounting software and financial planning tools.
  • **Team Leadership:** Lead and develop a team of financial analysts and planners, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • **Audit and Compliance:** Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, and oversee internal audits and control operations.
  • **Fundraising:** Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy, managing relationships with partners and investors.
  • **Financial Analysis:** Conduct financial analysis to inform business decisions, including revenue, COGS, and O/H variance analysis.
  • **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • **Minimum 10 years experience** in a senior financial role, preferably in a fast-moving consumer packaged goods environment.
  • **Bachelor's degree** in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • **CPA or other financial certification** is required.
  • **Experience** in cash flow management and planning, financial planning, analysis, and reporting, and related implementation projects.
  • **Strong analytical skills** and ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • **Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills**.
  • **Experience** with financial software and systems.
