Job Description

Maxine's Cafe & Bar is seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining room. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including promoting menu items, managing promotions and events, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: A post-secondary degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role, with a proven track record of success in team leadership, operations management, and customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple priorities, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
