About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Sushiyama Japanese Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Financial Management: Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure the restaurant is operating within budget.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that any complaints or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Suppliers: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
