Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure guests are aware of any issues or concerns.
  • Clear departures in the computer system and coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork or documentation as required.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls, requests, and questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Arrange transportation for guests and visitors as needed.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Cash guest checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
