Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests, ensuring all charges are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with the housekeeping team to track room status and guest concerns, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station, answering and processing guest calls, requests, and questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Supply guests with directions and information, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable stay with us.
  • Count and secure bank at shift beginning and end, maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Cash guests' checks, process payment types, and provide change, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of theft reports, maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
