Office Coordinator – Lac La Ronge

We are seeking a committed and personable Office Coordinator to deliver administrative assistance to the Health Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks aimed at supporting the leadership of LLRIB Health Services. About the role: The Office Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the operations and information requirements of designated programs by establishing and implementing suitable technical and administrative procedures. This position involves assisting the program manager/coordinator with diverse administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, reports, and complex filing systems;
- Organize meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, special projects, and events;
- Document detailed minutes during various meetings;
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of reports and proposals by gathering necessary documents;
- Serve as a primary contact for internal and external inquiries;
- Manage the filing system for program documentation, including reports, correspondence, staff orientation and training records, and community training records;
- Oversee the procurement and distribution of program-related supplies and equipment, such as office materials and forms;
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12; a certificate in Administrative or Office Education is preferred;
- Proficient in using computers and office equipment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered;
- Experience with First Nations Organizations is an advantage;
- Ability to speak and understand Cree is beneficial;
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License;
- Willingness to travel to surrounding communities as needed;
