The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Community and School Recreation Coordinator.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement community-based sports, culture, and recreation programs for students and community members.
- Collaborate with students, families, and community partners to deliver high-quality programs.
- Recruit, coordinate, and recognize volunteers to support program delivery.
- Gather input and data to inform the creation of an annual program plan.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
**Requirements:**
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Diploma in Recreation or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in sports, recreation, and culture preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with community partners and stakeholders.
- Sensitivity to the north and its diverse culture.
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and driver's abstract.
