About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Level Designer to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of our game's main and secondary missions and levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team of directors to supervise and oversee the design and implementation of game missions and levels;
  • Work closely with artistic, technical, and narrative teams to create high-quality missions and game levels;
  • Mentor junior level designers, providing regular feedback and guidance on their work and professional development;
  • Support production and testing teams in preparing and organizing consumer test sessions for game missions and levels;
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps and timelines for mission and level design;
  • Communicate progress and updates to game directors and stakeholders;
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of mission and level design documents;
  • Establish and maintain best practices and standards for mission and level design.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in the video game industry as a mission and level designer;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a lead level designer;
  • Experience in delivering games as a lead designer is an asset;
  • Strong understanding of level and mission design principles and constraints;
  • Experience with scripting and rapid prototyping;
  • Excellent technical knowledge of game development pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine;
  • Experience in design and game development;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Proactive and results-driven approach to work.
