Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.

About the Role

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, register transactions, and provide information on hotel services and room locations.
  • Efficiently book guest reservations and manage room assignments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is an asset.
  • Proficient in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Working Conditions

This position requires long periods of standing and may involve lifting and bending. The front desk area may be subject to cold temperatures, and the role may require working in a busy and dynamic environment.
