We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Lighthouse Hospitality Management Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Customer Service: Resolve complaints and claims, provide general information about points of interest in the area, and exchange foreign currency.
- Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Clerical Duties: Answer telephone, relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Legally Eligible to Work: Currently legally able to work in Canada.
- Training: Willingness to train.
