The Role

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Head of Sales. This position will oversee and manage all sales-related activities within our hospitality division, aiming to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Hospitality Officer, General Managers, Revenue Management, and Marketing Teams to formulate strategies that enhance product visibility and boost hotel sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the formulation of the hotel's business strategies.
  • Design and execute sales strategies that align with the hotel's objectives.
  • Regularly monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop the annual budget.
  • Foster teamwork through clear and effective communication.
  • Ensure that client and guest service standards are upheld through inter-property communication.
  • Work towards ensuring hotels meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Promote, document, track, and report on company cross-selling initiatives.
  • Utilize the company profile database to identify key geographic areas for outreach while maintaining relationships with existing travel agent accounts.
  • Organize appreciation events for travel agents during slower periods.
  • Assist in creating and implementing promotional packages for both internal and external audiences.
  • Implement business development practices aimed at attracting new clientele and systematically conduct sales calls to secure business opportunities.
  • Participate in and contribute to bi-monthly revenue and sales meetings.
  • Develop, update, and maintain accountability for the sales strategy and strategic plan in collaboration with the Chief Hospitality Officer and General Managers.
  • Lead on-property sales initiatives to cultivate long-term, value-based relationships with customers, enabling the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance corporate incentive programs through various channels.
  • Adhere to and promote hotel standards among guests and colleagues.
  • Attend various events to promote the Kaizen Lab Inc. brand.
  • Evaluate and enhance property participation in diverse sales channels, market sales, and electronic lead generation.
  • Support the operational aspects of business transactions, including proposal generation, contract writing, and client correspondence.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar environment is preferred.
