Job Title: Administrator - Prince County Hospital

As a key member of the Hospital Services Management team, the Administrator for Prince County Hospital plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality health services to the community. Reporting to the Executive Director of Hospital Services, this senior position is responsible for all aspects of on-site management, including staff supervision, budget management, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual business plans, strategic plans, and goals and objectives for the hospital.
  • Manage the hospital's operating and capital budgets, ensuring effective allocation and distribution of resources.
  • Monitor and analyze expenditure trends, preparing quarterly forecasts and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to hospital staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the HR division and Recruitment and Retention Secretariat to facilitate HR practices and recruitment efforts.
  • Act as a primary spokesperson for the hospital, community, media, government, and non-government agencies.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in healthcare administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of LEAN process improvement and change management strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the HR division and Recruitment and Retention Secretariat.
