Job Title: Kennel Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kennel Attendant to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort. As a Kennel Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends.

Job Summary:
  • Provide daily care and maintenance of kennels, including cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Feed and bathe animals, as well as assist with inoculation and treatment.
  • Keep accurate records of animal treatments and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with dog training and behavior modification.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure the overall well-being of our animals.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and enclosures.
  • Feed and bathe animals, including dogs and other domestic animals.
  • Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals.
  • Keep accurate records of animal treatments.
  • Assist with dog training and behavior modification.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure the overall well-being of our animals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
