We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort as a Pet Care Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and other areas of the facility
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Perform laundry and linen duties
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- Assist with animal care and handling
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for animals and staff
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Our facility is a non-smoking, outdoors environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding work setting. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all staff members.
