Job Title: Kennel Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kennel Attendant to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort. As a Kennel Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends.

Job Summary:
  • Provide daily care and maintenance of kennels, including cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Feed and bathe animals, as well as assist with inoculation and treatment.
  • Keep accurate records of animal treatments and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with dog training and behavior modification programs.
  • Perform various tasks related to animal care, including nail clipping and dental cleaning.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and other animal enclosures.
  • Feed and provide fresh water to animals.
  • Assist with animal handling and behavior modification.
  • Keep accurate records of animal treatments and maintenance.
  • Perform various tasks related to animal care, including nail clipping and dental cleaning.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a kennel environment with exposure to animals, noise, and varying temperatures.
