Job Title: Cleaning Man/Woman

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort as a Cleaning Man/Woman. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our animals and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Animal Care: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Housekeeping: Launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, outdoors, and noisy.
  • Work Setting: Kennel.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
