We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kennel Attendant to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our furry guests.

• Bathing and Grooming: Bathe and shampoo animals, ensuring their coats are clean and healthy.
• Food Preparation and Feeding: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our canine companions.
• Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Record Keeping: Accurately record the treatment and care of animals, including vaccinations and medical procedures.
• Assisting Veterinarians: Assist veterinarians with inoculations, treatments, and other medical procedures.
• Animal Handling and Nurturing: Assist animal breeders with handling and nurturing animals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, including food, bedding, and cleaning materials.
• Dental Care: Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals, promoting their oral health and hygiene.
• Recreational Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
• Certifications: Pet first aid course.
• Language: English.
• Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
