About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kennel Attendant at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and grooming animals to ensure their cleanliness and well-being
  • Preparing and serving food and water to our canine and feline residents
  • Cleaning and disinfecting enclosures, cages, and other areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assisting with inoculations and treatments as needed
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pet first aid course certification
  • Experience working with animals, particularly dogs and cats
