As a Customer Relationship Executive, your primary duty will be to connect with clients predominantly through telecommunication and electronic correspondence, delivering exceptional customer support to drive and conclude sales, surpass sales and profit goals to enhance profit sharing, all while nurturing lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales orders and transform quotes into orders through client interactions, primarily via phone
  • Maintain connections with key clients and ensure their requirements are fulfilled
  • Employ interpersonal skills to strengthen ties with existing clients and broaden market reach
  • Serve as a project coordinator for significant initiatives, keeping detailed lead time records and updating clients accordingly
  • Identify and acquire new clients through outbound calling initiatives
  • Meet or exceed gross profit and sales objectives
  • Assist with counter sales during peak activity periods and enhance business through face-to-face client interactions
  • Address client concerns such as pricing discrepancies and product returns
  • Collaborate with suppliers to expedite client orders when necessary
  • Follow up on quotes and outstanding orders with clients
  • Support the Outside Sales and Counter Teams with client orders and inquiries
  • Play a vital role within the team, contributing to all Profit Centre activities
  • Inform the Profit Centre Manager and Credit Department of any client business changes that may pose credit risks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Profit Centre Manager

Qualifications:

  • College or University degree
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service or inside sales/contractor experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding customer service and telephone communication skills
  • Adept at prospecting new clients and increasing sales with existing accounts
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and effective multitasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Identify client needs, propose profitable solutions, and close sales
  • Skilled in using order processing software
  • Intermediate mathematical skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior knowledge or experience with plumbing and building products available at the Profit Centre
  • Familiarity with Trend and Eclipse platforms
