Job Title: Supervisor, Human Resources

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at SSR Mining. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic onsite human resources support and guidance across the HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to site leadership teams on employee relations matters, with a focus on early intervention and people-centricity.
  • Drive change and continuous improvement initiatives, challenging the status quo and promoting a culture of innovation.
  • Lead workplace investigations, provide support and recommendations on performance issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Liaise with Case Manager on case management support for disability leaves.
  • Coordinate succession management and talent planning initiatives.
  • Develop and publish monthly HR metrics, identifying business improvement opportunities.
  • Develop policies and procedures, including communication roll-out and updates.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports in Site Administration.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and innovative thinking.
  • Promote a results-driven performance culture throughout the operation, recommending solutions and improvements to current HR processes and programs.
  • Conduct and facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics, including new hire orientation, leadership development, and policy/procedure education.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a strong background in HR Business Partner activities. You will have a proven track record of leading and developing a team, with experience in the mining industry or a similar role within the resources sector being an asset.

What We Offer:

As a Supervisor, Human Resources at SSR Mining, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a schedule of one week on, one week off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan. You will be required to fly in and out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
