Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at SSR Mining. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to our site leadership teams, fostering a safe, respectful, and productive work environment, and driving business results through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Business Partner: Collaborate with site leadership teams to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Change Management: Lead and facilitate change initiatives to drive business improvement and cultural transformation.
  • Talent Development: Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and publish monthly HR metrics to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Site Events and Projects: Support site events and participate in special projects as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnership, talent development, and change management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and coaching skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications: CPHR designation or equivalent.
Working Conditions:

This is a remote camp position with a schedule of one week on, one week off. You will be required to fly in and out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
