Quality Assurance Tester for Japanese Localization

As a key member of our team at Amber, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Japanese localization in our video game titles. Your role will involve:
- Conducting thorough testing of video games to verify all text, images, and audio components in Japanese.
- Identifying and correcting translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic inaccuracies within the games.
- Documenting errors in a bug-tracking system or translation document with clarity and precision.
- Offering solutions for reported issues to enhance the quality of linguistic and translated content.
- Adhering to established terminology guidelines throughout the testing process.
- Collaborating with your team to cross-verify issues across different languages.
- Reporting to the Test Lead and following their directives.
- Addressing and escalating any challenges to the Test Lead as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
- Experience with mobile, PC, and console gaming devices, along with familiarity with their terminology.
- A genuine passion for video games.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional proficiency in English.
