About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Localization QA Game Tester to join our team at PTW, a global services company that collaborates with video game developers and publishers through outsourced production services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proofread and identify Japanese language errors in video games
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Write reports of all errors/bugs found to improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Identify missing or incorrect content to ensure a smooth gaming experience
  • Perform ad hoc translations as required
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese is mandatory, as the position requires a thorough understanding of the content within games in the Japanese language
  • Strong cultural understanding of Japan
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential, as the role involves comprehending and interpreting internal documentation from our international clients
  • Basic proficiency in French to facilitate communication and collaboration when required
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience with using different software and applications
