Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Localization QA Game Tester to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Japanese Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Japanese language content in our video games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and identify Japanese language errors in video games
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Write detailed reports of errors and bugs found to improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to enhance its overall quality
  • Verify that the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed

Requirements:

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese is mandatory, as the position requires a thorough understanding of the content within games in the Japanese language, as specified by client requests
  • Strong cultural understanding of Japan
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential, as the role involves comprehending and interpreting internal documentation from our esteemed international clients
  • Basic proficiency in French is required to facilitate communication and collaboration when necessary
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
