Localization Quality Assurance Specialist with Japanese Language Expertise

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in Japanese language to join our team. As a Localization QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our localized content and identifying any linguistic, visual, or cultural issues.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Japanese
- Identify translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in Japanese
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
