About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Localization QA Game Tester to join our team. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of Japanese language content in video games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread and identify Japanese language errors in video games
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Write reports of errors and bugs found to improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to improve its overall quality
  • Ensure the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese is mandatory
  • Strong cultural understanding of Japan
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential for communicating with clients and colleagues
  • Basic proficiency in French is required for communication and collaboration
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
