EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SALES LEADER

Our client, a prominent automotive dealership group with a diverse range of brands, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Sales Leader to enhance their thriving OEM dealership. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the successful operation of the vehicle sales division, striving to meet or surpass sales and customer satisfaction benchmarks. This position demands hands-on involvement and strong leadership across all facets of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to devise and implement vehicle sales strategies, sales initiatives, and marketing concepts, while forecasting monthly sales and expenses and creating promotional plans.
  • Inspire and motivate your sales team to achieve key performance indicators and adhere to best practices.
  • Assist individual sales representatives in establishing ambitious yet attainable monthly targets and provide the necessary support to achieve these objectives.
  • Guide your sales team in delivering an outstanding purchasing experience for all clients.
  • Address any customer concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Ensure that both new and used vehicle lots are well-kept, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about all manufacturer and financial institution products, programs, and promotions, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable about factory offerings.
  • Encourage continuous training, including regular sales team meetings.
  • Oversee internet sales initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all provincial licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in Automotive Sales Management; 5 years of automotive sales experience is preferred. Experience with domestic products is advantageous but not essential.
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leader, trainer, and coach.
  • Able to cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere to achieve shared objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in managing business-related social media is a plus.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • OMVIC certification and a valid Ontario driver's license are required.
