About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Analyst to join our team at Michael Page International (Canada). As a Network Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks for our clients in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement wireless networks for our clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Network Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for our clients' wireless networks, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • RF Coverage Studies and Wireless Site Surveys: Conduct RF coverage studies and wireless site surveys to ensure optimal network performance and coverage.
  • Proof-of-Concept Trials: Lead or assist with proof-of-concept trials with new technologies to evaluate their feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain reports, standards, and other documentation to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level network design and support, including IEEE 802.1, WAN/LAN, optimization, load balancing, routing, switching, QOS, TCP/IP, P2P, and P2MP wireless equipment.
  • CCENT or CCNA Certification: CCENT or CCNA certification (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Mining Applications: Experience with mining applications and hardware such as Modular Mine Dispatch, Komatsu FrontRunner, Caterpillar Command, Minestar, Wenco, etc.
  • Familiarity with Wireless Test Equipment: Familiarity with wireless test equipment (spectrum analyzer, Site Master, etc.).
  • Cisco Wi-Fi and Aviat/Cambium/Redline Experience: Hands-on experience with Cisco Wi-Fi and Aviat/Cambium/Redline PMP or PTP products.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Installations on Heavy Equipment: Experience with installations on heavy equipment.
  • CCNP and CWNA Certification: CCNP and CWNA certification (an asset).
  • Nokia and/or Ericsson Experience: Experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson cellular/LTE infrastructure (an asset).
