We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Systems Analyst to join our team, who will play a critical role in supporting the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain core infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V Clusters, virtual machines, switches, firewalls, and other networking and communication equipment.
  • Ensure data protection and retention for on-premises and cloud systems, and work with the IT Manager to build, operate, and maintain IT infrastructure and enhance security.
  • Manage the transition of systems and services from on-premises systems to cloud-based solutions.
  • Proactively monitor and tune IT services for availability and optimal performance.
  • Administer and manage hybrid email systems, archiving, and secure email gateways.
  • Perform capacity planning and asset lifecycle management of all IT assets.
  • Collaborate with the IT Management team, other stakeholders, and business stakeholders to discuss new system requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Effectively communicate IT-related information to IT Management and business stakeholders, and handle confidential and sensitive information with tact.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including the Health and Safety program.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and take ownership of escalations until resolution.
  • Research and provide feasible solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Challenge legacy practices and strive for continuous improvement, innovation, and cost reductions.
  • Ensure process diagrams and documentation are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • A punctual and reliable team player with a people-first approach, prioritizing honesty, ethics, and integrity.
  • Strong understanding of how a large, geographically dispersed enterprise environment operates to provide stability and reliability to the business.
  • Strong networking skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PXE, Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls, HP/Aruba switching, VPLS, routing, VPN, and access lists.
  • Experience in system administration, managing Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or higher, basic Linux, Remote Desktop Services, and application deployment in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with SAN, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and storage provisioning.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, DFS, replication, PowerShell, Windows updates, and Microsoft Exchange 2016.
  • Administration of collaborative services like SharePoint and unified communications like MS Teams.
  • Experience with VOIP phone systems, IOS devices, mobile device management, and cloud transitioning and management experience (Office 365 or other).
  • Experience in managing end-user protection and security.
Education and Experience
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field is an asset.
  • Completion of Grade 12 diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years' experience in networking design and management, and server administration.
  • Possesses strong networking management knowledge and experience with network-related hardware/software, including managed switches, enterprise wireless solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN solutions, network sniffers/analyzers.
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization and SAN technology.
  • Experience with Exchange 2016 and 2019.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2014 and up.
  • Experience in network infrastructure and helpdesk.

  • Occasional after-hours work when needed.
  • Local and international travel when required.
