Long View Systems is seeking a highly motivated Network Operations Analyst to join our team in Calgary. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical escalations, ensuring the operational uptime of the tools used to monitor and manage our clients' environments.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incidents involving infrastructure, network, or SQL issues, as well as access requests for various tools like Secret Server and SolarWinds.
  • Actively manage monitoring, event, and incident management tools such as SolarWinds Orion and other relevant platforms. Utilize ServiceNow to effectively address the entire incident lifecycle.
  • Oversee server backups and maintenance plans across our clients' environments.
  • Execute approved changes to IT infrastructure within designated change windows, including patching activities as outlined in the change calendar.
  • Conduct regular physical infrastructure checks and promptly remediate any identified issues.
  • Perform quarterly vulnerability scans and take necessary steps to address discovered vulnerabilities.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 2+ years of experience managing complex, multi-tenant infrastructure tools, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-connected technologies.
  • Experience working with and managing IT service management tools, including performance monitoring and ITSM solutions.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and service request management processes that adhere to ITIL framework standards.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and procedural issues effectively.
  • Availability to work varying schedules of 5 days on and 5 days off with 12-hour shifts (mornings, evenings, or overnights) to meet business needs.
