Network Infrastructure Specialist Overview
The role of a Network Infrastructure Specialist is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of network systems. This position entails:
- Providing comprehensive support, implementation, monitoring, and configuration of network infrastructure components.
- Delivering expert technology consultation for application and infrastructure initiatives.
- Possessing experience with industry-standard networking equipment is highly desirable.
- Timely response and resolution of service outages to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participating in On-Call support for network services infrastructure.
- Proposing innovative solutions to address business challenges.
- Working alongside vendors to ensure solutions align with established standards.
- Assisting in the development of proof-of-concept models for design modifications.
- Documenting F5, Firewall, and Internet services to provide user guidance.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or a related field is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in network infrastructure is required.
- Certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto, or F5 are advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of F5, Firewall, and Internet services is essential.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities with end users and vendors.
- Ability to proactively initiate restoration solutions.
- Understanding of how network services interact with applications.
- Experience with IP protocol conversion is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills across all management levels.
