Job Summary:
S I Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to provide operational support, build epic order sets, and maintain system documentation for our valued healthcare client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application users, operational managers, and clinical leadership to determine unique and specific software requirements.
- Investigate end users' preferences while making system configuration decisions.
- Analyze proposed changes to business processes to determine their impact on users and their information systems.
- Perform in-depth analysis of integrated workflows, data collection needs, and other technical considerations.
- Evaluate proposed changes for their potential to offer improved patient care, lower operating costs, and time savings without creating risks for the hospital.
- Develop comprehensive documentation to describe and explain the intricate software and hardware configurations of the applications.
- Document frequently asked questions for support documentation and create clear standard operating procedures for common tasks.
- Act as a resource for all system users to guide them in the effective use of the software application. Respond to support calls and act as a troubleshooter, interpreting problems as perceived and explained by a wide range of users.
- Configure software based on decisions and test software to ensure that it meets functional specifications. Confer with other application stakeholders, recognizing the integration nature of an Electronic Health Record.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation concerning how and why decisions are made throughout the course of a project, systems design and development, and work process redesign.
- Comply with all system Change Management Policies and Practices.

- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting the EpicCare system.
