Position Overview

AllStream Janitorial Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operations Supervisor to oversee our cleaning teams and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in various facilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate as needed to manage different sites effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budgets and provide cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Process payments for specialized cleaning services.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their daily tasks as necessary.
  • Coordinate work schedules and activities with other departments.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will oversee a team of 5-10 individuals, including:

  • Janitors and caretakers
  • Building superintendents
  • Light duty cleaners
  • Specialized cleaning personnel
Security and Safety Requirements

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.

Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
  • Repetitive tasks that may be physically demanding.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing.
