Position Overview

The role of a Custodian Supervisor at Miracle Duct Cleaning involves overseeing the cleaning operations within various facilities, ensuring that all environments are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to confined spaces and wet/damp conditions.
  • Working in environments that may include odours and dust.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff to ensure effective performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning personnel.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to cleaning services.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as required.
  • Coordinate cleaning activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for cleaning teams.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 cleaning staff.

Security and Safety

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in physically demanding work.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for various cleaning tasks.
  • Must be capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods.
Personal Attributes
  • Dependability and reliability are crucial for this role.
  • Flexibility in work hours and tasks is expected.
