Position Overview

The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff and ensuring that all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating activities, and maintaining high-quality service.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work at heights and outdoors.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff.
  • Conduct inspections of sites to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Receive payments for specialized cleaning services.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work schedules and activities with other departments.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team ranging from 5 to 10 individuals.

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance is required for this position.

Work Conditions

Candidates must be able to work under pressure and handle the physical demands of the job.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Financial Benefits

Compensation will be in accordance with the collective agreement.
