About the Role

Miracle Duct Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodian Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities for additional services, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, including payment records and staff expenses.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other operational activities.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or maintenance environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check and have a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 35-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
