Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team in a manufacturing environment. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that production cells meet production requirements, maintaining installed measures, and completing tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that established OEE quality/availability/performance standards are achieved within designated cells and workstations.
  • Identify root causes and take appropriate action when established OEE or safety standards are not met.
  • Maintain, post, and report on critical cell measures (OEE, parts per available hour, 5S audits, and corrective action).
  • Train new operators and ensure they understand and adhere to Standard Work and required practices.
  • Complete project work as assigned, including improvements in standard work.
  • Fulfill production operator roles when required.
  • Participate in lean concepts training as needed.
  • Ensure environmental requirements are identified and addressed.
  • Support business system goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out duties focusing on internal and external customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the occupational health and safety act.
  • A minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team lead role.
