Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that your designated production cells meet production requirements, maintaining installed measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that established OEE quality/availability/performance standards are achieved within designated cells and workstations.
- Identify root causes of performance issues and take corrective action.
- Train new operators and ensure adherence to Standard Work and required practices.
- Complete project work, including improvements in standard work.
- Fulfill production operator roles as needed.
- Participate in lean concepts training and support business system goals.
- Ensure environmental requirements are met and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Superior organizational and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the occupational health and safety act.
- Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team lead role.
