Production Team Supervisor Role Overview

As a Production Team Supervisor at Magna, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing cells. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled operators, driving performance excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of production operators to achieve established quality, availability, and performance targets.
  • Identify and address root causes of any performance deviations, implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new operators, ensuring adherence to standard work practices and safety protocols.
  • Champion lean manufacturing principles and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
