Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that your designated production cells meet production requirements, maintaining installed measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that established OEE quality/availability/performance standards are achieved within designated cells and workstations.
  • Identify root causes of performance issues and take corrective action.
  • Train new operators and ensure adherence to Standard Work and required practices.
  • Complete project work, including improvements in standard work.
  • Fulfill production operator roles as needed.
  • Participate in lean concepts training and support business system goals.
  • Ensure environmental requirements are met and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety act.
  • Minimum one year in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team lead role.
