Job Title: Team Leader
About the Role
The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that designated production cells meet production requirements. They must maintain installed measures to ensure efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Capable of performing all jobs in assigned cells
- Achieve established quality/availability/performance standards
- Identify and address root causes for any standards not being met
- Ensure operators adhere to standard work and tools
- Train new operators and ensure adherence to standard practices
- Complete project work and fill in for operators when required
- Participate in lean concepts training and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Focus on internal and external customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
