Position Overview

As a key member of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts are responsible for ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience from the moment they arrive. This role involves managing guest flow, optimizing seating arrangements, and maintaining clear communication with the entire team. Our Hosts are the first point of contact and play a crucial role in creating a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present a warm and inviting demeanor, both in person and over the phone, even during peak times.
  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to ensure smooth guest flow throughout the venue.
  • Greet and escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail by accurately managing reservations both over the phone and in person.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front entrance and host stand, ensuring it is well-stocked and free of clutter.
  • Quickly learn table numbers and maintain awareness of each section within the restaurant.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service; restaurant experience is an asset.
  • Availability for evening shifts is essential.
