POSITION OVERVIEW

The In-Seat Hospitality Attendant is responsible for delivering outstanding service to guests while working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take and process food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Serve a variety of items including food, soft drinks, water, wine, and both draft and bottled beer.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the menu offerings and daily specials.
  • Record food orders while accommodating any special requests.
  • Adhere to all regulations and guidelines concerning alcohol service.
  • Handle payment transactions for food and beverage orders.
  • Conclude each interaction by expressing gratitude to the guest.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Provide personalized attention and service that surpasses guest expectations.
  • Foster a cooperative team environment with fellow staff and other service departments.
  • Assist service staff by clearing and cleaning tables and delivering food.
  • Perform opening, closing, stocking, and other assigned tasks.
  • Maintain knowledge of other food, beverage, and retail options available.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement.
  • Ability to engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to uphold service standards.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must obtain necessary food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English for effective communication.
  • Ability to lift and transport items within specified weight limits.
  • Availability to work during various events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long durations while navigating various surfaces.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and complete all required safety training.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This position requires on-site presence. The physical demands of the role include regular sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for various tasks. Employees must frequently reach with their arms and hands, and be able to stand, walk, and stoop as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
