POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and managing all warehouse activities, including the receipt, distribution, and storage of food and beverage products. This role is crucial for effective inventory management and maintaining cost efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee pre-event preparations and ensure timely setup in accordance with event schedules. Assign tasks to Supervisors and lead staff as required.
  • Provide supervision during events, monitoring operations and service delivery, while proactively addressing any service-related issues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to procure food products for service, including handling special order requests.
  • Maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment with well-kept equipment and service areas.
  • Manage the event breakdown process efficiently.
  • Ensure that warehouse staff are trained in service standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Enforce compliance with employee break and meal regulations.
  • Facilitate communication with internal departments and lead meetings as necessary.
  • Foster positive employee relations and effectively manage labor relations issues.
  • Identify and mitigate hazardous situations to ensure safety within the organization.
  • Interpret and uphold company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum educational requirement of Grade education and relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Smart Serve Certification is required.
  • Must demonstrate emotional maturity, respectfulness, and sincerity.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for engaging with others.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is based on-site and requires physical activity, including sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for various tasks. The role also involves standing, walking, and reaching. Vision requirements include the ability to focus on close objects.
